Tiny drops of water splashed up at the femme, even from where she stood. A distance away from the waterfall, a nice mist was offered. The sun shone overhead and made Kahli's damp, warm pelt shine like a thousand diamonds. She was looking good today and she knew it. She flaunted it, actually. The one thing about her that was easily seen was that she was a huge flirt and would literally flirt with a tree if she went too long without a compliment. She bent her head up to the bright blue sky and then flicked it back down in joy. Hmm... Only thing that could make the day any better? A stud muffin to pleasure the egotistical femme. She swished her tail and decided to let out a fair warning that she was there. A long, slow, neigh. But oh! Warning? Or invitation?
She pawed at the ground anxiously and backed away from the cloud of mist until it went back to just the sun beating down on her chestnut coat. How exciting it was to be young and able. Judging to the looks of her mother, she only had a few more years to flaunt it before she went downhill and couldn't even support the weight of a stallion on her small frame. She shivered at the thought and her eyes flickered around.

The so-called 'beauty' of nature held no charm for Jarl. While he was grateful to Mother Nature for supplying him with shelter, water, and food, (and an oh-so gorgeous body,) he certainly wasn't going to hang around and drool at the beauty of the earth. The stallion moved swiftly through the Battleground without hesitation, for although he had no idea where he was, he also didn't know where he was going. All that the blue roan was certain of was that he wanted to vacate this empty dump as soon as possible.
Even the waterfall was of no interest to Jarl - he took a single, bored glance at it, then turned away, and - what was that? Jarl did a double-take, staring at the waterfall as though entranced. There, standing beside the pool, all red and gleaming and beautiful, was a young mare. Too surprised to move, Jarl admired the female from afar. She was an Arabian, very petite in build, with a gloriously chestnut pelt. Jarl was flabbergasted: her beauty actually rivaled his own!
Recovering from his shock, Jarl walked confidently towards her, his dark eyes tracing her figure as he approached. "Am I in heaven?" He asked the mare softly, humor in his voice. "'Cos I'm pretty sure mortal horses aren't supposed to look as beautiful as you do, honey." Jarl came to a halt just a few paces from the mare, watching her with wide eyes. He'd like to see her beat that pick-up line!

Now what was that? Just when she figured nothing interesting had heard her a handsome stallion paraded into her life. She flicked her tail playfully but allowed her ears to stay propped forward with curosity. Blue roan... The perfect pelt in her eyes. She could hardly rip her blue eyes off of him. Like moving poetry to a human, like moving fun to her. She listened, with a smile across her muzzle, to his pick-up line. Oh, so this stud was a player? A young one, too. Just like a certain Little Miss Kahli. She had to admit, this guy had to be the finest specimen of a male she'd ever laid eyes on. And... she had seen many. Her ears swiveled forward and backwards in wonder and playfulness.
"Yes, I'm here. What are your other two wishes, Hot Stuff?" She looked at how close they were, wondering what the outcome of the lovely meeting would bring. One thing was for sure. Kahli was sure to drag some fun out of it, and by the looks of this boy, he was too. "If being handsome was a crime, you'd be guilty as charged." She batted her eyes playfully and took a step closer to him, extending her long limbs. The old smile had been replaced with one that simply was there for the love of flirting... And of this specimen that she was ovetly-pleased to be speaking to. Well... overly-pleased would be a major understatement. "So, do you have a name or should I continue to call you Hot Stuff?" She shook her head as if getting invisible flies off of her and pawed once at the ground. Inviting him to throw something back at her.
A wonderful thought passed Kahli's mind at that moment. What about making this lovely male her next fling? How hard would it be to entice him... How hard would it be for him to entice her? She swished her tail and blinked a few times, her blue orbs still not breaking from his pelt.

Jarl chuckled out loud at the mare's reply. Clearly, this female had quite a personality - an added bonus to her stunning appearance. "If beauty was a crime, I'm not so sure you'd be too innocent, either." He retorted, taking a single step closer to the stranger. The stallion smiled as she mirrored his subtle movement, batting her eyelids enticingly. Baby, I'm all yours, Jarl thought, his smile widening fractionally. Not that I'm letting you know that just yet.
"Well..." Jarl murmured, pretending to think seriously about the mare's question. He moved closer to the mare, so that they were standing side by side. He could see every striation in her beautiful blue eyes - her beautiful, entrancing blue eyes. "Hot Stuff doesn't seem to encompass just how truly amazing I am... So you may call me Jarl." He replied jokingly, still lost in the mare's eyes. "And what may I call you, honey?"
