 Date Opened: April 06 Activity: Average Species: Equine Difficulty: Intermediate/Advanced Extras: Gain powers from quests routine disasters, adopt characters, fight, steal and mingle with other horses Plot: Deep in the dark nothingness of death, a planet was growing.
Vita and Nyteic ruled in balance until the birth of two children. The first, Jeremiah, had a golden coat and a heart to match. Layla contradicted her brother with a fiery cold heart, highlighted by a crimson pelt. Both foals carried on the trait of immortality, only having weakness or mercy to the other.
After two years of torture from his sister, Jeremiah could take no more and felt his life was in danger, took flight and went into hiding in hopes of finding other equines of his kind. In anger, Layla took to the opposite side of the land, seeking destruction and an army to destroy her kin.
It was at this time that other equines, with good, balanced or evil hearts, began to appear and all lived a simple protected life until the unthinkable happened.
Vita, the immortal white Goddess, was dead. Killed by the trickery and malice of Oriel the Dark Prince and Layla the Dark Princess, the lands of Dawn were struck with the dreadful thought of losing one of their Gods. The lights no longer held the protection of the white dove, and Nyteic was sent into a mad rage of depression as his love is gone. Yet there is one thing that the darks did not count on, and that was that Vita was not completely gone, for her soul ran within the wind and water as she is still was immortal being created by the World itself. The future was untold but with that comes revenge. Now that the Downfall had occurred, what were the lights supposed to do? The darks grew stronger everyday, until finally Layla released her forces upon Amanecer. It was then that the true Downfall occured.
The World grew sick under the darks' took power completely. They either killed, tortured, or chased away every light within sight. Jeremiah and his Queen, Peresaphine, faded into the very darkness of their demise. Some say they died, others said they went into hiding with the Gods, but it was not their disappearance that caught the most attention. Instead, the darks lost their leader, Layla, to this same strange disappearance. Yet in her place her only child, a daughter from King Oriel, rose to rule the army. Laioni was just as, if not more, cruel and dangerous that her parents. She continued their sabotage upon Amanecer for three years, and then the land finally fought back.
The darks were not as largely numbered as they had once been, many tired of the lights they had, killing them and then travelling far deeper into Amanecer. Laioni finally realized her decreasing numbers, and decided to regroup. Yet as her head turned away, another horse, just as powerful, rose from the shadows.
Clairvoyance, the daughter of Jeremiah and Peresaphine, took her place as the Queen of Lights. At her reappreance, the few lights that had been hiding came forward. Once again, the lights
were growing stronger. Even the neutrals came forth, unafraid of the darks, who were meeting with Laioni, for she was building her army once more.
The Rebirth was inevitable, but how will you aid this new world? Keep the peace? Raise hell itself? Or stay undecided, and leave the fight altogether? It's your choice, and what you make will affect the final outcome.
